What we cover

68 qualifications: 50 paper/component calculators and 18 qualification-total checkers. Some courses have several entry options. June 2026 is the latest published series included here. History varies by qualification; the page and comparison filters show the actual years available.

AQA and OCR history includes selected earlier series. Most Pearson Edexcel courses currently include 2024–2026. Combined Science keeps its double-grade scale and separate Foundation/Higher entries. Component indicators, where available, use separately published notional boundaries; the qualification grade is decided from the overall total.

How a comparison is calculated

We divide the published qualification boundary by its published maximum, then multiply by 100. Weighted totals stay on their official scale. Separate tiers, routes and double grades are kept separate. Charts and rankings use the same underlying records as the matching qualification pages.

Many 2024–2026 records include page references. Earlier records retain their official source URLs and stored provenance. Structural validation checks maxima, grade order, repeated IDs and calculation consistency; it cannot prove every transcription correct. Use a row’s source link to check a figure.

Historical context

2020 and 2021 had no normal summer exam series. 2022 used transitional grading. The boundary-movement tool uses 2024–2026, and the forecast explains exactly which years enter its retrospective tests.

Derived data and frozen guesses

The comparison tool can export its filtered rows as a CSV. The 2027 forecast also has a downloadable, versioned record containing its inputs, original guesses, methods and historical testing results.
