What Do I Need? provides straightforward GCSE and A-level mark calculations. The site began its present form in 2026 with AQA and OCR qualifications in mathematics, English language, science and psychology.
The calculators use official historical grade-boundary files. Each qualification page includes the specification code, entry option, assessment structure and source links used for its calculations.
The site is independent of AQA, OCR and the Joint Council for Qualifications. Awarding organisations remain the authority for specifications, results and confirmed boundaries.
